Argentine dancer Hernán Piquín, together with Cecilia Figaredo, performed at the Astros Theatre in Buenos Aires City, a show called Balada para mi muerte (Ballad for my death), Astor Piazzolla, including two pieces composed by Jaime Wilensky: EL JUGUETE (The Toy), Milonga with the choreography of Ms. Cecilia Figaredo and TIEMPOS (Times), Tango, both recorded by Andrés Linetzky with Valetango in CD Pasión en Tango 7 - Musipak S.A.

Featuring in concert of "TangoNuevo de Jaime Wilensky" CDs in BAFIM (International Music Fair, Government City of Buenos Aires) 2009 in charge of Pablo Agri, Ernesto Romeo, Juan Pablo Navarro and guest musicians.

Premio Gardel:

Leopoldo Federico got the Gardel Award 2005 to The Best Tango Orchestra Album for “Pasión en Tango III” CD with songs by Jaime Wilensky.

Café Tortoni » Launch of MUSIPAK label and release of "Pasión en Tango"[Passion in Tango] and "Estrellas del Tango"[Tango Stars] CDs

These CDs were released in Argentina by MUSIPAK label on April 17, 2001, in the Sala de la Bodega of the traditional Café Tortoni, in the historic Avenida de Mayo, introducing them to the general audience and media.

Beba Pugliese Orchestra, conducted by Beba Pugliese herself, the Neotango Sextet, conducted by Andrés Linetzky, and Raúl Monti and his "Ten-Finger Orchestra" performed live the songs from these CDs.

Walter Gutiérrez, Darío Vitale, Isabel Mendoza, Elsa Rivas and Rodolfo Lemos sang live, and Cristian and Virginia danced.

During this event, tribute was paid to Mr. Ben Molar and to the memory of Mr. Alberto Lago. Messrs. Atilio Stampone, Victor Yunes Castillo, Jorge Bocacci, and Ms. Elcira Olivera Garcés, important members of the tango scene, were awarded distinctions.
