Jaime Wilensky, son to musicians, he learned his first musical notes from his mother -a music professor, and his father- a violinist.
Music and medicine were bound together throughout the years.
His piano maestro was Hubert Brandenburg and studied music at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Since his childhood, he was engaged in a classical - romantic composition.
Jaime Wilensky approached tango through his mother, who was used to singing Tango.
He furthered his medical practice successfully and lived about twenty years in the USA.
Even so, he never quit playing the piano and composing.
In closing a long musical process, in 1999 he created the record label Musipak, editing several records with compositions of his own: “Pasión en Tango”: 1; 2; 4; 5 : “Pasión en Tango III”- where Leopoldo Federico got the Premio Gardel 2005 to the Best Tango Orchestra Album- and the serie of records 1; 2 ; 2.1; 3 and 3.1 of “TangoNuevo de Jaime Wilensky”.
