Ernesto Romeo, is an expert in composition and interpretation with synthesizers, keyboards and electro-acoustic media. He founded the electronic music ensamble Klauss in 1988.
He took part in various rock bands and experimental music projects and made the soundtracks of theater plays, exhibitions and art and video installations, working with groups and artists such as Espíritu, La Organización Negra, John Medeski, Pez, Babasónicos, Marielouise Alemann, MMW, Los Natas, César Lerner, Quum, Gustavo Galuppo, NDI, Estupendo, Jaime Sin Tierra, Silvina Cafici, just to name a few.
He recorded more than 60 records and performed at theaters and cultural spaces of Buenos Aires, Madrid, New York City, Rio de Janeiro, Bogotá, Barcelona, Montevideo, etc. He made the tour Tango Venus in Japan and was awarded the Gardel prize for his live record in Tokyo titled “La Vida y la Tempestad”. He was a judge of the National Electro-Acoustic Music Tribune (UNESCO).
He is a college professor of music technology and production and delivers lectures and international seminars. With Musipak label he was involved in all the series of records 1; 2; 2.1; 3; and 3.1 of “TangoNuevo de Jaime Wilensky”.
