With its instrument, the bandoneón, he is considered one of the fundamental musicians in the world. His name is associated with celebrities such as Horacio Salgän, Astor Piazzolla, Héctor Stamponi, Martha Argerich, Horacio Ferrer, Frank Sinatra, Lalo Schifrin and Juan Carlos Copes.
He has played at stages in Spain, France, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Central America, Brazil, Uruguay and New Zealand. He performed in Japan in “Tanguisimo” show with Octeto Buenos Aires and the voices of Roberto Goyeneche and Nely Vazquez.
He toured the USA with his “Alma de tango” record along with Yo-Yo-Ma. He played solo with the National Symphonic and Buenos Aires Colon Opera House orchestras and with the orchestras of Sweden, Norway, Australia, France, Canada, England, Switzerland and Austria.
He is guest director of “Juan de Dios Filiberto” National Argentine Music Orchestra and is in charge of the Tango de Buenos Aires Orchestra direction and “Néstor Marconi Trío” and “Néstor Marconi Quinteto” orchestras related to the former.
With Musipak label he participated in the “Neotango Cromático” and the series 2.1; 3 and 3.1 of “TangoNuevo de Jaime Wilensky”.
