Granddaughter of the famous Osvaldo Pugliese, she began to study music with her mother, Beba Pugliese, when she was a child, devoting herself to classical music.
Carla Pugliese graduated in music from the Berkeley College of Music. In 2000, she took part in radio shows in the City of Buenos Aires as a member of a tango orchestra. In 2001, she began to conduct her own quartet and included some compositions written by herself in the repertoire. She also made several performances among which we can mention her participation at the Tango Festival held at Teatro General San Martín, La Trastienda, Casa de la Cultura. Moreover, she performed for the National Geographic Society in the film about the Pugliese Dynasty.
